Gary Cochrane (owner of Trend Builders) has been providing the plans for nearly all of Trend Builders projects since 1977.

Why are plans needed?

Architectural plans, or blueprints, are essential because they serve as the detailed roadmap and communication tool for building and renovating projects, ensuring accuracy, compliance with codes, and a clear understanding of the design among all stakeholders.

1. Most cities require plans to get a permit.

2. Contracts, along with specifications and plans, ensure that everyone involved is on the same page.

Who uses our service?

If you have ever been involved with a construction project, you know that using licensed architects can be cost-prohibitive.

1. Contractors primarily use us on remodeling projects.

•On-the-job remodeling experience is what sets Gary apart from your average architect. After nearly 50 years designing and doing the work himself, Gary has learned what will work and what will not work. As a contractor, you need this experience, so you are not losing money making changes during the construction process.
